BIO
Sakk started learning to sew when he was 15 years old.  
From His great grand mother to Ladonna, his mom, who
had her own custom design shop for 35 years, passed
her influence onto Sakk.  As a student at George
Washington High school in Denver, Colorado, Sakk took
bachelor Survival and Sewing for 3 years.  He continued
his knowledge by taking a credited course in power
sewing at Emily Griff Opportunity School in Denver, CO. .
 After receiving his 4 year college degree in Fashion
Design and Merchandising at Woodbury University, he
decided to pursue the European Style of draping know as
Couture Draping Techniques.  He trained under Md.
Margaret Wachter and Iko Beall.  Md. Wacther trained
under Balenciaga,Christian Dior, Jean Louis and YSL.  He
completed his 2 year course at Otis Parson School Of
Design.  After completing that course, he took 1 1/2
years of Trim Design and Textile Theory. This crash
course consisted of fabrication identification, trim
design, fabric dying and fabric surface manipulation.         
 
After completing those courses, Sakk decided to advance
his technique by taking a CAD CAM course at the
California School of Design in California.  This course
taught him to design and execute his designs from
concept to final creation.  With all these accumulated
techniques by his side, Sakk has launched his SAKK
MARLO [Sakk designs] Collection which has received
international appeal.  A simplistic look -- draped for
style, comfort and ease for movement. From rayon
chenille meshes and custom burnout novelty fabrics, to
funky novelty solids and textured weaves, these fabrics
add a more Avant Garde appeal. From Funky way out
collage pattern motifs, merrow embroidered hems
detailing, and detailed trims popping out of no where,
Sakk has made a name for himself, not only amongst the
specialty stores but the Better Fine Art & Wine Festivals
from  California, New Zealand, Denver, Chicago, Florida,
Texas, and Toronto!!  His specialty which has made him
even more popular is the fact that he designs for the Full
Figure/ [Plus Size Woman] and the Big and Tall Man!!
